News recently broke that Diageo plans to tear down and rebuild the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, one of the oldest original Scotch distilleries. Diageo submitted a planning application to the Highland Council, stating that the rebuild will help them expand their output to keep up with demand and be environmentally friendly.
